Colour Me: The Dua Series – Daily Duas for Eating

Assalamu Alaykum Warhamtullah Everyone,

Continuing our journey of learning our daily duas, today we will be learning five duas related to eating our food.

The first thing you will need to do is grab your copy of the duas here:

Then fold the printable in half on the dotted lines and cut around the black borders so it resembles this:

We then read each dua until it was memorized then proceeded to colouring it. Ours looked like this:

Finally, you can either leave it as it is and post it by either laminating it or optimally placing it in a card stand. We made our own DIY card stand and laminated the sheet as well. The results were awesome mashaAllah!

We hope you have a lot of fun spending an evening with your child learning and colouring these dua’s!

Don’t forget to send us a copy of your stand and we will showcase it here, on Salik Kids!

Barakallahu Feekum!

Bookmarks: A need for Salik Kids!

Assalamu Alaykum buddies!

Do you know what Salik Kids like doing the most? Learning! And colouring and playing…

So while we were learning with our wonderful books we thought a bookmark might be a good idea for this weeks activity. Not just any bookmark but one that would teach us something new. Maybe a dua? The ideas were endless, so we chose three of them.

What is even better is that they are double sided, just make sure the print settings are adjusted to two-sided printing.

Here is your child’s opportunity to love more reading, more learning, and more fun!

Have fun learning and colouring!

All Aboard? READY, STEADY, SAY:

Assalamu Alaykum Everyone!

We hope everyone has been having a blessed new year!

From this week, Salik Kids will be learning about the different adhkaar in Islam. Of the many adhkaar that our dear Prophet Muhammadﷺ has taught us is the adhkaar for when we are about to go on a ride.

Here is a special dua card which you can colour with your child and hang it in your car so that you can be sure to ask Allah’s protection every time!

Join Salik Kids this week while we learn our new dua for boarding a means of transportation! Remember to memorize the dua!

Here is an example of how you could hang it your car:

The front of our card looked like this.

And the back like this.

What we found to be optimal in size was to print two design on one page. This is in contrast to the instructions included in the package but we thought it would be best to preserve the original design and size depending on what you find best for your child.

Barakallahu Feekum!
